||2-mast Gaff Schooner|
|Year of built
This two masted Gaff schooner was built in the 90s as a project for unemployed people looking for work in the province of Flanders. The total building time was five years and the ship became a symbol of hope, persistence and cooperation in an environment where there was large unemployment.
Since then the ship is owned by the T-group who made it their flagship. The organisation happily makes the ship available for sail trips, teambuilding, educational and/or cultural purposes. Projects with a social character will certainly be chosen. In the meantime she is as sail training ship a regular guest at Sail events!
She participated in the Tall Ships Races 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. But also in the Heineken Race of the Classics 2003/2004, the Cutty Sark Races 1998 and 2001 and SAIL Amsterdam 2015. Sail Den Helder is proud to welcome her in 2017!
