This sail training vessel belongs to the Belgian Navy and was named after the Belgian engineer Zénobe Gramme from 1826.


The ship was built at the Boel shipyard in Temse (Belgium) in 1961 and she was designed by Frank van Dycke. She occasionally participates in Tall Ships Races and mainly visits European ports. Her homeport is Zeebrugge.


This Bermuda Ketch measures 28 meters in length. Her mast of 32 meters height and the remarkable sails with the Belgian flag that stand out and she is a very welcome guest to Sail Den Helder 2017. We will give her a very cordial welcome!
